Google Chrome is considered the most used web browser on personal computers today. Many Windows users use this Internet browser. It is widely preferred because it works more compatible with Google’s services, such as Gmail and YouTube.
Mac computers have the built-in Safari browser. While macOS users are happy to use Safari, they sometimes need to install Google Chrome.
Follow this video tutorial or the steps below to install Chrome on Monterey 12, the most up-to-date macOS system.
Step 1: To download Chrome for Mac, visit this link: https://www.google.com/chrome/
Step 2: Click the Download button on the Google Chrome homepage.
Step 3: After downloading the Chrome.dmg file, go to Downloads and run the dmg file.
Step 4: Copy the Chrome browser to Applications in the dmg folder.
Step 5: After copying Chrome, run it from Applications.
Step 6: Click Get Started when you run Chrome.
Step 7: Select the Google services you want to bookmark.
Step 8: Select a theme you want to use in the Google web browser.
Step 9: Finally, if you want to sign in with your Google account, click Continue and sign in to your browser with your account. Click No Thanks if you don’t like it.
Step 10: After installing Chrome on your Mac, you can search the Internet faster.
