How to Install Windows 98 on macOS
To install Win 98 on macOS:
Step 1: If you haven’t installed Fusion on macOS High Sierra before, check out the video below.
Step 2: After installing VMware Fusion, you are now ready to install Windows 98 on your Mac!
Step 3: First, download Windows 98 for macOS from the following link to your computer.
Step 4: After downloading the ISO file to your computer, run the virtualization program on macOS.
Step 5: After running macOS, select Create a custom machine and click Continue.
Step 6: In the operating system selection window, select Microsoft Windows and then Windows 98 operating system. Then click Continue to continue the machine installation.
Step 7: Select Create a new virtual disk in the Choose a Virtual Disk and click Continue.
Step 8: In the virtual machine window, click the Customize to add the ISO file to the machine.
Step 9: In the Save As, select the location where you want to install the machine and click Save.
Step 10: Click the DVD device and select Choose a disc or disc image.
Step 11: Add the ISO file to the VM.
Step 12: Now you can start installing Win 98 on macOS High Sierra!
