Step 2: After installing VirtualBox, for example, you installed a Windows 10 operating system on a new virtual machine. You must use the VirtualBox Snapshot feature to back up this virtual machine.

Step 3: Open VirtualBox and select the virtual machine you want to back up. Then click Machine / Take Snapshot from the menu.

Step 4: Write a name and description for the virtual machine backup. Then click OK to continue.
