Step 2: The first thing you need to do after installing GNS3 software is to add a Cisco Router and Switch IOS image. Refer to the video below to add a Cisco Router image file.

Step 3: After adding the Router to GNS3, you can connect the Router to the physical network with the Loopback network card.

Step 4: Open the Run window on your Windows 10 computer, type the “hdwwiz” command, and click OK.

Step 5: In the Welcome to the Add Hardware Wizard window, click Next to continue.

Step 6: For the “What do you want the wizard to do” question, select the “Install the hardware that I manually selected from a list (Advanced)” option and then click Next.

Step 7: From the devices in the Common Hardware Types window, select Network Adapters and click Next.

Step 8: In the “Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware” window, immediately after selecting “Microsoft” in the Manufacturer section, some devices will be listed in the Model section.

Step 9: Select “Microsoft KM-TEST Adapter” and continue with Next.
