This video shows you the steps to install Microsoft Windows XP using the VMware Fusion 10/11 Pro virtualization program on your macOS operating system.
How to Install Windows XP on macOS
NOTE: You can install Windows XP on macOS Mojave 10.14 using VMware Fusion by following this video tutorial.
Step 1: If you haven’t installed VMware Fusion on macOS system before, check out the video below.
Step 2: After installing it on the macOS operating system, you are now ready to install WinXP on your Mac!
Step 3: First, download the operating system to your computer from the following link.
Step 4: After downloading the ISO file to your computer, run the VMware Fusion 10/11 virtualization program in macOS.
Step 5: Select Create a custom virtual machine and click Continue.
Step 6: In the operating system selection window, select Microsoft Windows and then XP operating system. Then click Continue to continue the installation of the virtual computer.
Step 7: Select Create a new virtual disk in the Virtual Disk window and click Continue.
Step 8: In the virtual machine, click the Customize Settings button to add the ISO file to the virtual machine.
Step 9: In the Save As window, select the location where you want to install the virtual machine and click Save.
Step 11: Add the ISO file to the virtual machine.
Step 12: You can now start installing XP on macOS!
